What are the dates and times of the 2024 Delaware Renaissance Faire?
The Delaware Renaissance Faire, Delafaire, will take place at Firebase Lloyd, in Townsend DE, just off Route 9. The Faire runs for three weekends, October 26-27, November 2-3, and 9-11, including Veterans Day, Monday 11/11. We are open from 10am-5pm each day, rain or shine.
What is the physical address?
Firebase Lloyd’s address is 474 Fleming Landing Road, Townsend DE 19734.
What’s parking like?
Parking for guests is available on site and is FREE
Where can I get tickets, and how much are they?
Tickets are available for purchase on our website, www.delafaire.com/tickets. They are date specific, so separate tickets are needed for separate days. Discounted tickets are available for seniors, military veterans and active duty personnel, and children ages 14 and under. Kids aged 4 and younger can attend for free.
Will tickets be sold at the gate?
Tickets will be sold at the gate unless otherwise sold out online. If we are approaching a sold-out event, we will give warning and make the announcement on social media and our website. For this reason, we encourage attendees to buy in advance.

I bought a Season Pass in advance, but I see you sold out. Can I still attend?
Yes! Your advance Season Pass is good at the gate, on any day we're open, regardless of whether or not we're sold out. We've factored in our Season Pass holders for attendance.

Can I leave and return during a festival day?
You may leave and return to the Delaware Renaissance Faire, provided you have a handstamp. Handstamps are given out at the front gate, as you exit.
What if there is bad weather?
The Delaware Renaissance Faire is a rain or shine event. As such, there is no refund of tickets for inclement weather.
Do you accept credit cards?
Many of our vendors accept credit cards, while others take cash only. We recommend bringing both for maximum flexibility. We also an ATM on site for patrons.

Can I bring period weapons as part of my costume?
Firearms are strictly prohibited. You may bring period weapons as part of your costume; however, they must be peace-tied (Which means a plastic zip tie is attached to your weapon and sheath and keeps it from being drawn.)
Firearms of any kind, functional or non -functional, are NOT allowed on site. This included replicas and concealed - carry weapons.

Is there a dress code?
Costumes are encouraged, and regular clothes are welcome. With that in mind, most pathways aren’t paved on site and the terrain is grassy and uneven in some areas, so we advise that you wear appropriate footwear.
Please be advised that the Delaware Renaissance Faire is a family-friendly event, and that we reserve the right to restrict admittance to patrons that we believe would negatively impact the experience of other patrons.
May I bring my pet?
Pets are not allowed at the Delaware Renaissance Faire, but service dogs are permitted.

May I take photos and video at the events?
We welcome you to take photos and videos at the Faire for strictly personal use. Please do not film performances listed on your schedule. If you would like to use any images or footage for commercial purposes, or if you are a member of the media, please contact marketing@delafaire.com.
Are bathrooms available?
Portable toilets will be available for general use on Faire days.
Is your venue ADA accessible?
Our location is a grassy, farm site that is only partially accessible to wheelchairs. Some of our portable toilets are accessible by wheelchairs. We also have designated parking for guests with disabilities. Don’t hesitate to contact us with specific questions.
May I smoke or vape on the premises?
No. The Delaware Renaissance Faire is a non-smoking and non-vaping event.
Can I bring a stroller?
Yes. Please be advised that the Delaware Renaissance Faire does not rent strollers.
Is medical staff on the premises in case of emergency?
Yes. Delaware Renaissance Faire does have medical staff in case of emergency. Please contact any staff member if you experience an emergency.
Can I bring a picnic lunch to the event?
No. Outside food and drink are not permitted on Faire grounds.

Should I bring an extra lawn chair?
No, we have plenty of seating at our stages and in our pub area.
